Bantwal: MLA Rajesh Naik files nomination

BJP candidate  MLA Rajesh Naik on Saturday offered prayers at the Polali Sri Rajarajeshwari temple before marching on foot with thousands of supporters to submit his nomination papers at the taluk administration building in B.C. Road, Bantwala.

He was accompanied by his wife Usha R. Naik.  As the padayatra (march) progressed, BJP workers carried the party flag and raised slogans in support of Rajesh Naik.

The number of activists grew as the march continued, with a large number of supporters joining in from Kaikamba Polali Dwara in BC Road. Minister Kota Srinivasa Pujari addressed the activists and encouraged them to support the BJP.
