Bee attack halts cricket match in Ullal, video goes viral

Ullal: In an unexpected turn of events near Ombhathukere, a cricket match was abruptly halted when the ball hit by a batsman landed in a beehive, triggering a swarm of bees to attack players and spectators.

The incident took place at Anil Compound in Someshwar Ombhathukere during a cricket tournament organized by locals on Sunday. A ball struck by one of the batsmen found its way into a beehive nestled in a coconut tree. The impact led to the hive bursting open, unleashing a swarm of bees that attacked players, including the batsmen.

The sudden onslaught sent everyone in the stadium scrambling to escape the bee attack, ultimately resulting in the cancellation of the match.

The chaotic scene was captured on video and has since gone viral on various social media platforms.
