Bengaluru: Opposition Bharatiya Janata Party is allegedly making trying ways to woo some of the disgruntled MLAs from the ruling JD(S) Congress led state government.

“We have been getting feelers from disgruntled MLAs of the ruling combine. However, we have made it clear that they have to come as a big group, which is sufficient enough to pull down the government,” a senior BJP leader told a news daily.

It has been revealed that the BJP is now trying to get nine MLAs from the Congress and Janata Dal(S) camps, sources said. “These are not overnight developments. They have been happening for some time. This is due to the inherent contradictions within the coalition partners, especially the Congress,” BJP sources maintained.
