BJP ministers make hate comments in yatra: Rai

Mangaluru: District in-charge minister Ramanath Rai said that BJP’s ‘Jana Suraksha Yatra’ has been organized to divert people’s mind.
Addressing the media here, he said, “BJP and Sangh Parivar are the reason behind communal clashes in the Dakshina Kannada district. Hence, they have no moral right to organise such programs,”
BJP leaders deliver hate comments at the yatra. Ministers like Pratap Simha and Ananth Kumar Hegde have earlier used this platform for making hate comments and erupt communal tensions in the state.
During the yatra, a tableau displayed ‘Siddu darbar’, the police later seized the truck to avoid communal tension.
Harish Kumar, district Congress president, Ibrahim Kodijal, Shashidhar Hegde, Kavita Sanil, A C Vinayraj and others were present.
