Mumbai: Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan is trending on Twitter amid reports that she demanded a whopping Rs 12 crores for the upcoming mythological period saga Sita.
As per a report in Bollywood Hungama, the makers of Sita are said to have approached Kareena for the lead role. Quoting a source, the report states that the actress who usually asks for Rs 6-8 crores for films has quoted a sum of Rs 12 crores.
The filmmakers, it stated were reconsidering their decision and are in talks to take the film to a younger actress instead. But Kareena still remains the first choice.
Expressing their outrage against the actress, netizens demanded to Boycott Kareena alleging that is hurting with religious sentiments and that the demand of Rs 12 crores for a role is too much and is ‘against humanity’.
Few users also dragged actor Saif Ali Khan stating that he hurt Hindu sentiments with Tandav, and Kareena is now repeating the same.
Take a look at some of the reactions:

A nationalist Indian would never accept an actress who has no faith in Hinduism for the role of Mother Sita.
Bollywood film mafia spreads poison towards Hinduism, we should boycott all such artists who hurt the religious sentiments of the people.#BoycottKareenaKhan pic.twitter.com/Ol6Wu3nSdH
