Bengaluru: BJP State president slammed Punjab minister and former cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu’s comparative statement regarding Pakistan and Tamil Nadu.

BSY said that Sidhu’s statement has insulted Kannadigas and citizens of South India and demanded an apology from him.

BSY demanded an explanation regarding Sidhu’s statement from Congress president Rahul Gandhi.

Sidhu on Saturday expressed that he finds the Pakistan culture more relatable than in Tamil Nadu. “If I go to Tamil Nadu, I don’t follow the language. Not that I don’t like the food, but I can’t take it for long. The culture is different. Where in if I travel to Pakistan there is no difficulty with regards to language as its all the same and everything there is just amazing,”
