Bengaluru: “Other than being corrupt and amassing huge wealth, what has the former minister achieved?” BJP state president and MP Nalin Kumar Kateel said reacting to the accusations made by the Karnataka Congress on BJP regarding CBI raids on KPCC President DK Shivakumar.

Reaction to the Tweet by Karnataka Congress Nalin wrote, ” Can’t stop laughing at your tweet Karnataka Congress? Why should BJP be rattled with the elevation of Sri DK Shivakumar as KPCC President? Other than being corrupt and amassing huge wealth, what is his achievement?”

“Isn’t he the same leader who sent cash to your high command?” he added.

“BJP is so rattled after DKShivakumar elevation as KPCC President that they have resorted to such cheap tricks. There is proof of the corruption of Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa and BY Vijayendra, but CBI ignores it. This is vendetta politics of the worst kind,” the official Twitter handle of Congress had tweeted.

Earlier in the day in a series of tweet, Nalin said, “CBI collects enough evidence before raiding any person’s residence or business establishment. If Congress, which has ruled the country for 70 years does not know this fact, it clearly means that they have agreed that they were using CBI to take vengeance on their political opponents.”

“Independent entities like Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Income Tax (IT) are already conducting an investigation on the illegal wealth amassed by D K Shivakumar. Those investigations are in different stages now. Instead of cooperating with CBI, is it right to have let his supporters attack the vehicles of CBI officers?” he questioned.

“The support is given by national leaders of Congress to D K Shivakumar simply means that they are indirectly supporting the illegal property amassed by Shivakumar. It shows that the Congress leaders also have had a share in the illegal wealth accumulated by Shivakumar” he added.
