Bengaluru: Former Chief Minister (CM) of Karnataka and Chairman of the coordination committee of the state’s coalition partners has called upon party activists to fight Hindutva virus of BJP with full might during the coming Lok Sabha election.
Speaking at the programme of felicitation for the new office bearers of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee, the former CM said, “There is every chance that the sister concerns of BJP may try to flood people’s brains through false information campaigns. Congress workers and leaders should make advance preparations in a planned manner to affectively browbeat such efforts,” he advised.
Many top leaders of the party had stayed away from this programme held on Saturday July 28.
