Former MP, AH Vishwanath Officially Leaves Congress Party

Bengaluru: Former Lok Sabha MP, senior congress leader A H Vishwanath officially submitted his resignation to congress party membership. The senior congress party leader handed over his resignation letter to Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President G Parameshwara after a foot-walk from Bengaluru press club to KPCC office in the state capital on Friday.
Speaking after his resignation, the senior leader said, he decided to leave the party after he was neglected by other party members in Karnataka even if he served congress for the last three four decades in the state. It was a painful experience to leave congress, he added.
KPCC President G Parameshwara speaking on the resignation said, the resignation letter would be sent to All India Congress Committee (AICC) office in New Delhi for further official formalities as he was an AICC member. KPCC president added that he personally tried his to stop the leader from leaving his party.
