Gas tanker topples at Lavathadka; NH traffic affected

Puttur: Vehicular movement along the national highway 75 between Mangaluru and Bengaluru has stopped after a gas tanker toppled at Lavathadka near Nelyadi of the taluk at 11 am on Friday, August 2.
Apparently, gas is getting leaked from the overturned tanker and hence all vehicular movement has been stopped as a precautionary measure to facilitate remedial measures.
Fire service personnel are on the spot and are trying to plug the gas leak.
