High court advocate accuses BJP of using CAA for vote bank politics

Bantwal: Former minister and senior Congress leader B. Ramanath Rai on Tuesday alleged that Centre has introduced the Citizenship (Amendment) Act to divert people’s attention from the economic recession in the country.
He was speaking at a protest rally organized by district Congress workers at BC Road against the CAA.
Delivering the keynote address, state high court lawyer Sudhir Kumar Koppa accused BJP of using the CAA for vote bank politics and asked them to focus on developmental reforms.
Baby Kunder, Sudeep Kumar Shetty, Padmashekhar Jain, Chandraprakash Shetty and others participated in the protest.
