Highways with holes: Two social activists hold silent protest at Nanthoor

Mangaluru: A silent protest was conducted by two social activists’ concerning potholes on national highways which are causing series of accidents here at Nanthoor circle on Saturday, October 12. Arjun Mascarenhas and Roopan Fernandes are the two social activists who undertook the silent protest.
About a couple of weeks ago, the two social activists had even protested at Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) on the same issue and later meet MCC officials to place their demands.
The protest regarding the dilapidated state of the highway and the demand to repair the same started in the morning and continued into the evening.
