JD (S) and BSP to field candidates from Udupi district

Udupi: Janata Dal (Secular) JD(S), and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) said that they will be finalising candidates in Udupi district.

“JD(S) will field its candidates in four constituencies, while its alliance, the (BSP) in one constituency,” said Yogesh Shetty, JD (S) District president.

Addressing the media here, Shetty said that the JD(S) will field Gangadhar Birti from Udupi Assembly Constituency; Ravi Shetty from Byndoor, and Prakash Shetty Thekkatte from Kundapur and said that the BSP will support the JD(S) candidates in all these four constituencies in the district.

Uday Kumar Tallur, president of the district unit of the BSP said that the party will field its candidate from Karkala Assembly Constituency.
