Karnataka ACB Registers FIR Against BJP Leaders BSY, Ananth Kumar

Bengaluru: Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Karnataka state has registered first information report (FIR) against state BJP president BS Yeddyurappa (BSY) and senior BJP leader, union minister Ananth Kumar for their alleged conversation on unaccounted cash transferred by state BJP unit to party high command in New Delhi.

At a party programme in Bengaluru, both leaders were reportedly spoken about unaccounted cash handed over by state party unit to BJP high command and the same conversation was reportedly recorded by someone in audio, video formats. Following complaints, ACB had sent the same recording to laboratory for further investigations and the experts certified that the audio/video tape is original.

Speaking on the FIR registered, BSY stated that he and Ananth Kumar are ready to face interrogation inconnection with the audio, video tape. He blamed Congress leader, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for the FIR registered and said he is using ACB as a tool against him and his party.
