Bengaluru: Amid the deepening crisis in the state BJP unit chief BS Yeddyurappa is reportedly holding a meeting with leaders R Ashoka, Renukarcharya and others at his Dollar’s Colony residence.
With the resignation of 14 MLAs, the 224-member Assembly is down to 210. Congress-JDS now has 104, while BJP has 105 and the support of Independent MLA H Nagesh, who just today resigned from HDK’s council of ministers.
BJP MP Renukacharya before attending the meeting said, “The Congress party which tore up the resignation of some of the MLAs, is now questioning the prerogative of the Governor. They are in delusion, they are still not able to understand that they can’t salvage the situation.”
