Bengaluru: The Karnataka Film Chambers of Commerce (KFCC) members tried their best to bring about a conciliation and resolve the issue between Sandalwood actors Arjun Sarja and actress Sruthi Hariharan, who had accused him of “lewd and complete unprofessional behaviour” during a film shooting in 2016.

On Thursday, the committee called both the actors to talk and reconcile the differences.

The KFCC meeting was chaired by actor Ambareesh, KFCC president Chinne Gowda and other from the industry.

However, the KFCC could not bring the two parties to reconcile.

The KFCC members said that, “KFCC has a history of solving many issues. But nowadays, new actors are bypassing the body. From now on, I request actors to bring the issue to our notice.”

Both Arjun and Sruthi firmly stated that they will not compromise at any cost saying compromising would show them to be guilty.
