Bagalkot: Karnataka Janata Party (KJP) founder member Padmanabha Prasannakumar, who earlier claimed about spreading rumours of a marital relationship between BJP state president BS Yeddyurappa and BJP MP Shobha Karandlaje has now alleged that he is facing life threats from Shobha Karandlaje.
Recalling the controversy aroused by him in 2016 about releasing the video evidence of BSY and Shobha’s secret wedding in Kerala temple, Prasannakumar said “I am not releasing the CD just yet because Shobha Karandlaje is threatening to kill me if I did so”.
He also added that he doesn’t have any grudge against Yeddyurappa as it was Shobha who misguided Yeddyurappa to quit the KJP and rejoin the BJP. He further claimed that the KJP could have come to power in upcoming Assembly elections if Yeddyurappa had stayed with the party.
The Karnataka Janata Party (KJP) was started in December 2012 after BS Yeddyurappa, along with several leaders from the BJP, including Shobha, walked out of the party.
