Huballi: Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President G Parameshwar said that he cannot confirm about other’s ticket when his own ticket is not confirmed yet.
Addressing the media here on Tuesday, he said the party high command will choose the candidates as so far no aspirant’s ticket has been finalized.
He said the Congress high command is yet to take a choice on Chief Minister Siddaramaiah challenging from the Chamundeshwari constituency. Siddaramaiah is presently representing the Varuna constituency.
Negating Siddaramaiah, who as of late said that he would proceed as the Chief Minister if Congress come backs to power, the state Congress boss said that the choice of choosing a Chief Minister will be taken only after the results are announced.
He likewise elucidated that the party has not assured the ticket for Bidar South MLA and representative Ashok Kheny, who as of late joined the Congress.
Parameshwar said that there is most likely that the Congress will come back to control. Any number of visits by BJP president Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi won’t change the fortunes of BJP’s chief ministerial candidate B S Yeddyurappa, he said. Strategies of the JD(S) supremo H D Deve Gowda and the party’s state chief H D Kumaraswamy won’t have any effect, he included.
