Mangaluru: Lokayukta raid residence of Vikas Soudha employee in disproportionate assets case

Mangaluru: Lokayukta officials on Wednesday conducted a raid at the residence of Niranjan, a senior geoscientist who is working in Vikas Soudha in Bengaluru.

The officials seized over Rs 10 lakh cash, 500 grams of gold jewelry, and 2 kg silver during the raid at his residence in Pumpwell.

Sources in the Lokayukta department said that documents of property papers registered in his wife’s name, life insurance policies worth more than Rs 10 crores, and documents of properties in Karkala, Kodagu’s Somwarpet, Periyapatna in Mysuru were found during the raid.
