MCC gets new commissioner

Mangaluru: The state government on Tuesday, August 25 appointed Akshy Sridhar as the new commissioner of Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) with immediate effect.

The post was lying vacant after the transfer of Ajith Kumar Hegde Shanady earlier this month.

Prior to this posting Sridhar, a 2017 batch IAS officer, was serving as Assistant Commissionser, Bidar Sub-division.
