Mizoram doctor-turned-MLA performs emergency caesarean, helps woman deliver baby

Mizoram: Mizoram legislator, ZR Thiamsanga performed an emergency cesarean and helped a woman deliver baby since the doctor on duty was not available
ZR Thiamsanga is a doctor-turned-politician and while visiting the earthquake-hit areas of Champhai North near the Myanmar border he found a woman in labour bleeding profusely and her condition was critical.
Thiamsanga specializes in obstetrics and gynecology, he immediately took the woman to the hospital and performed an emergency caesarean.The woman and baby are doing well
