Mother of two commits suicide after pushing kids into a lake

Shivamogga: A mother of two committed suicide by jumping into a lake after pushing two of her kids into i in Bhadravati taluk.

The deceased has been identified as Manjamma (30), resident of Mallapur village and her kids, Rachana and Yamuna.

Manjamma went missing from home on December 18 along with her children. Following which her family lodged a complaint at Holehonnur police station.

However, the people became suspicious after the lake started stinking and called the police.

When the police arrived they discovered the bodies of a mother and two children which were later taken to McGann hospital for postmortem examination.

A case has been registered at Holehonnur police station.
