Bengaluru: The former CM Siddaramiah has said that he has never eaten beef till now and also questioned what was wrong even if he did eat.
Mr Siddaramiah was addressing a gathering of minorities in Jamakhandi where assembly by-election voting was scheduled on November 3rd. He observed that the BJP leaders are known for fake assurances and statements.
He also said that Congress is the only party which believes in secular principles and pointed out that BJP does not have the right to question the eating habits of the people.
The former CM said that the Congress and the JD(S) combine candidates will win all the five by-elections. “Soon we will topple even the NDA government at the centre,” he said.
