Newly wed lady elopes with her lover

Puttur: A newly wed lady who had arrived to her relative’s house at Harady and then got admitted into a private hospital at Puttur due to some illness has gone missing after having eloped with her lover from the hospital on July 30th.
The missing lady is identified as Prema (18), wife of Shinoj, a resident of Kannur n Kerala. The lady who was a resident of Kushalnagar in Somwarpete got married to Shinoj on July 8th at Kushalnagar.
Later on July 26th, Shinoj couple visited the house of Shinoj’s elder sister at Harady in Puttur. On July 29th, as Prema developed a fever, she was admitted into a hospital here.
Since she was admitted in the women’s ward, Shinoj slept in the hospital veranda. On the morning of July 30th, She found Prema to be missing. When he checked his mobile, he had received a message from Prema stating that she had gone with her lover and requesting Shinoj to not to look for her.
Based on Shinoj’s complaint, a case has been registered at Puttur women’s police station on Wednesday. The police have left for Kushalnagar and are in search of Prema.
