Hubballi: State BJP president Nalin Kumar Kateel on Saturday said that Minister R Ashok could not attend the BJP core committee meeting on Friday, September 6 because he was occupied with other official work.
Addressing pressperson here he clarified that there is no misunderstanding between any of the party leaders and blamed media for spreading rumours.
He further added, “BJP government in the state will complete its term, and mid-term polls in the state will never happen, former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is simply dreaming about mid-term polls.”
Speaking about Congress leader DK Shivakumar’s arrest he said, “BJP has nothing to do with his arrest, but Congress leaders are simply blaming our party of vendetta politics. If Shivakumar has done nothing wrong he need not worry.”
“IAS officer S Sasikanth Senthil resigned from service citing personal reasons, let’s not judge his decision,” he said.
