PM asks IRS officers to work to meet people’s aspirations

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today asked the Indian Revenue Service officers to work towards meeting the aspirations of the people.

He was interacting with a group of 168 Officer Trainees of the Indian Revenue Service, including two from the Bhutan Royal Service.

The interaction covered a range of subjects, including the recent Union Budget, increasing the taxpayer base, and themes such as innovation and technology, the PMO said in a statement.
