Political Polarisation Begins in Karnataka after SMK’s BJP Entry

Bengaluru: Political polarisation has begun in Karnataka in favour of BJP after former Karnataka chief minister, union minister SM Krishna (SMK) officially joined the BJP in New Delhi last week and started his activities as a BJP member in the state capital. SM Krishna is also planning to bring some of close friends into his new party to strengthen it further. Meanwhile, speaking on SM Krishna’s entry into the party, senior BJP leader DV Sadananda Gowda has said that many of the congress party leaders have contacted him to become the members of BJP. Speaking at a felicitation program at BJP office in Bengaluru last week, SMK said that, for the timebeing Karnataka is witnessing a political polarisation favouring BJP and a clear picture on this is expected to emerge within 6 to 7 months.
Meanwhile, senior congress party leader former Chamarajanagar MP Kagalavadi M Shivanna has come forward to join BJP. Separate talks held with BJP leader BS Yeddyurappa and Shobha Karandlaje on his entry to BJP. Congress leader Kumar Bangarappa was also joined BJP recently leaving congress party in Karnataka.
