Ransomware Attacks Shivamogga Based Professor’s Laptop

Shivamogga: Laptop of an associate professor in Shivamogga became a victim of Ransomware and online hackers demanded a sum of $600 to remove the malware from his system. The laptop of Shivamogga based associate professor Arjun who works at PES Institute of Technology and Management hacked by the unknown online assailants and the attack was came light after a dialogue box appeared on the laptop screen demanding $the amount to deactivate the malicious software. The cheaters asked Arjun to pay the amount through Bitcoin however, rejecting their request, professor said, he wouldn’t pay the sum as his software doesn’t contain any important file.
