School boy drowns in a stone quarry while fishing

Moodbidri: A school boy drowned after accidentally falling into a red stone quarry in which he was attempting fishing with a fishing rod at Hosangadi Peri on Friday evening Oct 25th.
The deceased is identified as Abhishek, elder son among three children of Ravi and Girija couple. He was studying in sixth standard.
The incident came to light at night. Moodbidri tahsildar has visited the residence of the boy.
