Chennai/Udupi: Former top cop K Annamalai, hailed as ‘Singham’ of Karnataka, will join the BJP on Tuesday, August 25.
The 39-year-old resigned from service in 2019 to work with the people and he will be joining BJP in presence of National president JP Nadda at 11 Am in New Delhi.
His upright and strict method of enforcing the law and dealing with anti-social elements earned him the sobriquet ‘Singham of Karnataka’.
He is much loved and respected in the coastal region, especially in Udupi where he ably served the common people with courtesy and dealt with trouble-makers with an iron fist.
