Traffic on Charmadi comes to a halt after huge tree falls on road

Beltangady: Heavy rains accompanied by gutsy winds uprooted a huge a tree on the seventh bend of the Charmadi Ghat on Tuesday, August 6 leading to disruption in vehicular traffic.
Vehicles were seen queued up on both sides of the road.
Social worker Charmady Hasanabba and locals started work of clearing the road to facilitate the movement of vehicles. The stranded motorists expressed anger against the district administration officials for not visiting the spot even after one hour of the mishap
