Two sanitation workers die while cleaning sewer in Kalaburagi

Kalaburagi: Two workers died after they inhaled toxic fumes while cleaning a sewer without any safety gear in Kalaburagi.
The deceased has been identified as Ahmed (25) and Rasheed (30).
Condemning the incident, protest was organized by various organizations in the city. The protest was held in front of Kalaburagi District Hospital and the protestors raised slogans against the water board officials.
The protestors demanded strict action against the authorities and also urged for compensation to the family of the deceased
