Udupi: After Monday’s incidents of clashes between Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers, Udupi is now back to normal.
Eight cases had been registered in connection with the clashes between the Congress and the BJP workers during the Congress-called bandh, informed sources in the District Police. Of the eight cases, three were booked by the police, one case had been filed by a shopkeeper and another case had been registered by a woman. The rest were cases and counter cases by political party workers.
The police were studying video footages of the clashes and further action might be taken, if necessary, said the sources.
