Viral video of ‘drug addicted’ youngsters: Mysuru SP issues clarification

Mysuru: Photographs and video showing a group of young men and women behaving strangely allegedly after being intoxicated on a drug, in an agriculture field claiming to be in the district, went viral on social media on Thursday.
Following this Mysuru Superintendent of Police Seema Latkar issued a clarification. “Regarding the video of young women in possession of cannabis on the Karnataka-Kerala border. On date.05.02.2023, a case is registered in Pulapalli Police Station, Waynadu District, Kerala. This will be a video that took place in February 2023,” read the official handle of SP on X(Formerly Twitter).
In the video, an intoxicated girl in the group is seen losing control and rolling on the floor.
