A clipping of a newspaper column wherein a man sought help from the columnist after giving an ultimatum to his wife has gone viral on social media.
Narrating his predicament to the columnist, the man who happens to be a vegetarian expressed fear that his wife would choose mutton over him after he asked her to choose between them.
According to the post, the man had married the girl who comes from a “caste” that eats vegetarian food. The girl had confessed that she loves mutton and eats it out. As the girl was beautiful the man agreed to marry her on the condition that she quit eating mutton.
Later he came to know that she was eating mutton unknown to him and confronted her. “It’s me or mutton,” he said asking her to choose.
However, after this, he feared that his wife would go with the mutton option and thus wrote to the columnist seeking an opinion on what she would choose.
“What if she chooses mutton? It’ll be very embarrassing. Who do you think she will choose,” reads his query.
