Muzaffarnagar: A 30-year-old woman was allegedly raped by three men here, police said today.

The woman was waiting at Miranpur bus stand yesterday when the accused came on two bikes and offered to drop her. They, instead, took her to a sugarcane field, the police said.

There, the three accused raped her and threatened to kill her if she disclosed the incident to anyone, Circle Officer S K S Pratap said.

The police said a case has been registered against the accused, who are absconding. An investigation was underway.

A medical examination of the woman was conducted and the report was awaited, Pratap added.
