Swaraj India Party finalizes six candidates

Bengaluru: The Swaraj India party announced the names of six candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections in Karnataka on Tuesday.

The candidates are: Darshan Puttannaiah, son of farmer leader and the late MLA K S Puttannaiah, will be contesting from Melkote constituency. The other candidates are Linge Gowda S H (Maddur), K P Bhootayya (Challakere, Chitradurga district), D Srikantaswamy (Hanooru, Chamarajanagar), Vaijanath Patil (Yadgir) and N Shivananda Kugwe (Nagara, Shivamogga).

The second list of candidates will be announced on April 13.
