Muneer who happens to be a married man taught Arabic, Kannada and Hindi to the boys. The incident came to light after few of his students refused to go for tuitions. When questioned one of the boys confided about the sexual abuse to his parents.
“The family alerted the parents of the other boys in the class whereafter seven cases have been filed with the Ashok Nagar police since Wednesday. We suspect that many victims and their parents have not come forward fearing social stigma,” a police officer said.
