Chikkamagalur: BJP MLA offers no help to accident victim lying in pool of blood; Locals express anger

Chikkamagalur: BJP MLA D S Suresh has drawn criticism for showing insensitivity towards an accident victim by not offering to help.

It is said that health officer Ramesh met with an accident while returning home near the Lakkavalli Cross in Tarikere Taluk. Officer was lying in a pool of blood for half an hour.

MLA Suresh who was present at the spot did not come forward to help him. His gunman got down from the car and was helping the victim reach the hospital but MLA did not even bother to get down from the car.

However, the ambulance arrived after some time but Ramesh died before he could reach the hospital.
