Udupi: Tanushree Mudi sets another world record

Udupi: Tanushree Mudi has set another world record in the Golden Book of Records by performing 245 yoga asanas in forty-three minutes and eighteen seconds.
She performed the feat on Sunday at a function held at Rajangana here marking the Independence Day celebrations.
Manish, head of the Golden Book of World Records Asia, said, “I have seen two thousand records so far. This record of Tanushree was amazing. She has broken her previous record of 145 yoga asanas in 1 hour.”
“I learnt more than 180 asanas during the lockdown. In addition, I regularly practised 245 asanas prescribed by the guruji. He said he was happy with my record,” Tanushree said.
Tributes were also paid to Indian soldiers at the event.
Paryaya Sri Adamaru Sri Ishapriya Tirtha Sripada Swamiji said that present society is running behind luxury and longing for happiness. Interest in spirituality and yoga is decreasing along with an aversion to nature, creating problems for all humanity.
