As Afghans tried fleeing Afghanistan after the Taliban took over Kabul, a horrific t-shirt design mocking the Afghans who succumbed to death falling from a US Air Force jet has surfaced online.

This t-shirt has sparked various debates and outrage online.

The t-shirt shows silhouettes of a military aircraft with two bodies falling down and features the slogan ‘Kabul Skydiving Club Est. 2021’. They are being advertised just days after a tragic video of two people falling down the C-17 plane in Kabul after they tied themselves to the wheels of the aircraft to fly out of the country surfaced.

These t-shirts were available on several off-brand online clothing stores, including Tee4Sport and TShirtAtLowPrice.com.

“Featuring the scene of the plane flying in the sky and suddenly, there are two people falling from it, the Kabul Skydiving Club Shirt is officially becoming a phenomenon and goes viral on the internet after that! For those who are into Parachuting, skydiving, those who love jumping from the aeroplane to experience the highest mood, this shirt is totally suitable to wear!” read the description of the t-shirts.

Further adding, “The shirt originally does have its own meaning in the political aspect, but in the end, it depends on how you feel about it!”

Netizens have called out the online retailers who have listed the product on their sites and at least one, Etsy, has removed it from their platform.
