NDA likely to Back Sedam from Karnataka for Vice President Post

Bengaluru: According to the sources, National democratic Alliance (NDA) led by BJP is likely to announce Rajyasabha MP, Lingayat leader from the Hyderabad Karnataka region Dr. Basavaraj Patil Sedam as its candidate for next elections for the post of the Vice President of India.
BJP is planning to back a candidate from South India and the name of Sedam is in the front line in party spheres. His association with RSS and BJP top leaders may likely support him to become NDA candidate in next elections to be held for the post of the vice president on August 05, 2017.
