Youth arrested for illegally issuing voter IDs

Bengaluru: A group of five youth have been arrested for illegally issuing voter ID cards.

The accused have been identified as Naveen Kumar CJ (30), Sachin N (26), Devaraj (25), Sanjay Kumar Shilavanta, (29), and Karisiddeshwara (34).

The police claim that the accused gained the user ID and password of the IRMS website that is used by BBMP revenue officer assigned for electoral work. The gang used a computer to fill up Form 6 that is used to apply for a voter ID and then issued the voter ID illegally after taking money from the people.
