Congress resort brawl: MLA JN Ganesh absconding

Bengaluru:  The Karnataka Congress on Tuesday, January 22 found itself in another awkward situation as its Kampli MLA J N Ganesh, who is accused of assaulting Anand Singh, another Congress MLA from Vijayanagar went absconding.

It is gathered that the to the resort (Eagleton) to arrest Ganesh after an FIR was registered against JN Ganesh by  Anand Singh,  but he wasn’t there. When they tried reaching Ganesh on his mobile phone it was switched off. They also tried to contact him through his close aides, but couldn’t. 

However, the police recorded the statements of resort staffers and are yet to record the statements like all the eye witness as all of them were at the funeral of Siddaganga seer.

Meanwhile,  Anand Singh is in a city hospital may now have to undergo surgery as there is an 8 mm crack below his right eye, informed sources.
