Moodbidri: The sly youth couple that left behind a note stating “We are committing suicide because of a person” and compelled the cops to search the couple in the forest have re-appeared at the boy’s home after marrying each other on Sunday.
Since the lady is wearing karimane and a toe ring, it is presumed that the couple have married but the details of wedding are not known.
Band set artist Satish and the lady from Todar , who is pursuing her degree education, turned up at Satish’s house and since both of them are of proper age, the case booked at Moodbidri police station has been closed.
Incident synopsis
The couple which had gone missing on June 11th had come to Mulki from Udupi, from where they had taken a taxi to Pidamale forest. It is said that the couple had left behind a Rs 10 note with a message inscribed on it that they were going to commit suicide and a certain person and his family were responsible for their action. They had left the note tied to a mobile phone in the taxi. The note was later noticed by the taxi driver who promptly handed it over to Mulki police.
The message on the note
The note stated “ ‘A… ‘ and his family is responsible for our deaths. There is no mistake by Satish or his friends in this ,” which was signed by the youth.
“Do not send my phone back home. Let it be with Satish,” was written on another note.
Did this couple go to Pidimale? Was it a drama? Did they mislead and go to Goa or Murudeshwar? How true is their revealing to the police that they had married at Murudeshwar temple? Similarly, there remain many such questions which need clarification.
