Police raid illegal slaughter shed; arrest two

Brahmavar: Kota police conducted a raid at an illegal slaughter shed at Bhattanakudru in Balekudru village here and arrested two persons.

The arrested have been identified as Reginald Louis from Balekudru and Haluvalli Pradeep from Koteshwar.

On Thursday, November 28, a team of police personnel led by Kota police sub-inspector Nityananda Gowda raided the illegal slaughter shed, belonging to Reginald. It was found that the accused were slaughtering cattle and selling the beef illegally.

Kota police registered a case. Both the accused were later released on bail.
