Shivamogga: Rescue operations only after BDDS clearance

Team Udayavani, Jan 22, 2021, 10:19 AM IST

Shivamogga: Any operation and investigation at the explosion site in the quarry here can be carried out after the Bomb Detection & Disposal Squad (BDDS) gives clearance, it was reported.

There are concerns that more live bombs are still at the site of the explosion.

No one is being allowed to enter the area and police have set up cordons everywhere.

BDDS squads are yet to arrive from Bengaluru and Mangaluru. After their inspection, the police department, fire department and medical team can conduct a search and rescue operation.
