34-year-old man falls into water logged crater, dies

Mangaluru: A man died on Saturday after he drowned in a large crater in a waterlogged area near Valachil mosque.
The deceased is Razak (34), a resident of Valachil. He was working as a Muazeen at Valachil Juma Masjid.
It is gathered that Razak accidentally fell into the crater while he was walking near the waterlogged area.
Following the incident, the mortal remains of Razak were shifted to a private hospital in Padil.
A case in this regard has been registered with Kankanady rural police
