Bagalkote: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah documented his nomination from Badami here on Tuesday April 24 after a grand road show.

Badami is the second voting demographic for the CM as he has likewise recorded his nomination from Chamundeshwari and is relied upon to go up against GT Deve Gowda of the (JDS).

Before documenting his nomination Siddaramaiah offered prayers at popular Banashankari temple in Badami. Siddaramaiah will confront BJP minister B Sriramulu, a key assistant of the mining-tycoon Reddy brothers.

Addressing the journalists after filing his nominations CM said that he was pressurized to challenge from Badami by the general public. “The supporters from this constituency pressurized high command also to handle me here,” he said including that why there was such shout when PM Modi himself had challenged from two constituencies Varanasi and Vadodara. “Indeed, even JD(S) supremo H D Deve Gowda and Kumaraswamy had challenged from two constituencies. I don’t trust in any review. I am confident of winning both the constituencies, “he included.
