Key Puthila Parivar figure, Dr Suresh Putturaya aligns with BJP

Dr. Suresh Putturaya, a prominent figure within the Puthila Parivar, entered the spotlight after he was seen with the BJP’s candidate while submitting nominations for the by-elections for two wards of the Municipal Council.

Notably, during the previous assembly election, Dr. Suresh Putturaya, supported Arun Kumar Puthila when he contested independently for the Puttur constituency. However, there has been a noticeable shift as Dr. Suresh Putturaya has now emerged in the BJP camp.

The Municipal Assembly by-election witnesses candidates from both the BJP and the Puthila Parivar competing in two wards. The sudden transition of Dr. Suresh Putturaya from the Puttila Parivar camp to the BJP has sparked debates and discussions within the political circles of Puttur.
